The Council Program Preview

It’s that time of the year again.  It’s time to attend the 2007 Program Preview to begin the process of planning your unit’s quality program for an entire year and budget requirements.  A packet for every unit has been collected containing program planning materials, budgeting resources, council activities information, the council calendar, and other resources for the coming year for your unit.  At the August Roundtable, please make sure that at least one person from your unit is in attendance (of course, the more the merrier).

New Website for Parents
ScoutParents is an element of the National Parent Initiative of the Boy Scouts of America.  The intent is to provide parents information and tools to help them understand the importance of becoming more involved
with their Scouts.  In turn, we hope that scouts will stay with the program longer, working their way to Eagle Scout and drum support from parents to help and get involved with the Scout Pack or Troop.  Visit www.ScoutParents.org TODAY.  Please share this website with all your parents at your Recruitment Rallies or at your next Troop, Pack, and Den meetings.
