3. Contribute to your council appreciated real estate or give a remainder interest in your residence while retaining the right to live in your home for life.
4. Give paid up policies of life insurance to your council for current tax deduction.

Commissioner's Corner
Dear Scouter,
Earning the Centennial Quality Unit Award is a very important award to achieve. It tells the Scouting Community that your unit is doing what they are supposed to be doing. Soon, the recharters for every unit will be coming out and they should be returned to the Council Office by December 15th. If you need assistance in filling out a recharter, please call your District Commissioner and they will find a Unit Commissioner who can assist you in filling out the paperwork.

Contact Your District Commissioner, and say, "I need guidance" or call the Council Office at 325-655-7107 or 800-321-7107 or email bsa741@bsamail.org. Your District Commissioners are:   Tim L. Vasquez (Amangi), John Fluth  (Permian Basin), Gary Burt (Amistad)

Daniel Anderson,
Your Council Commissioner
