The silver medal with the red, white and blue ribbon is designed for formal occasions and may be worn by youth AND adult Eagle Scouts. Formal occasions include any event in which Eagle Scouts will be recognized or in which youth members will be present. This includes Courts of Honor, Blue and Gold Banquets, and other similar type unit, District or Council banquets or dinners. It is not worn during camping events.

The Eagle medal is worn by youth and adult members immediately above the top of the left pocket flap of the uniform. It may be worn with other medals. The order of the medals is up to the individual Eagle Scout.

The cloth Eagle badge is worn by youth members only. The Eagle square knot is worn by adult members above the left pocket seam of the uniform. The two blue ends of the rope are worn toward the wearer's right. (It is left is you are looking at the uniform.) Eagle palms are worn on the ribbon of the Eagle medal or the Eagle square knot.
