FAMILY FRIENDS OF SCOUTING
Each year in
January-May the Concho Valley Council conducts solicitations for funding
our programs. The majority of our needs are met through the support of
businesses and Scouting alumni, however a critical part comes through the
Family Campaign. Units throughout the Council are asked to participate
by scheduling a time for one of our Volunteers or Professional Scouters
to speak to the parents of our Scouts. These presentations last only about
7 minutes and are most effective when held in conjunction with Blue and
Gold Banquets or Troop Courts of Honor.
Friends of
Scouting fundraising is essential for the continuance of a quality Scouting
program in our 24 county area. Your contribution will help ensure the future
of Scouting for another 90 years.
COUNCIL EXECUTIVE BOARD REORGANIZED

both in line to become President. We will operate with four committees,
